Spaghetti Marinara

Ingredients: Whole wheat dry noodles ($5.19), Organic marinara sauce ($5.37), Mushrooms ($1.88), organic spinach ($2.38)

How to make it: Get a pot of boiling water and fill it up about half way. Put it at high heat and let it boil. While it boils, get your veggies ready. Grab your cutting board and a knife, and get your mshrooms and spinach. Wash them and slice the mushrooms in half. When it starts to boil, add all the dry noodles after breaking them in half. Keep the dry noodles in the pot until they are soft and flexable. Then put the contents of the pot in a colander and let all the water drain out. once the water is gone, pour the noodles back into the pot at low heat and add the marinara sauce (the whole jar). When that starts to simmer, then add your spinach and sliced mushrooms. Serve and enjoy.

Stuffed Bell Peppers

Cooking Time: 45 minutes-1 hour

Ingredients: Bellpppers ($0.80), Rice-Brown ($1.37), Beans- Pinto ($1.48), Potatoes-Russett ($0.48)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease an oven pan. Trim the tops off each bell pepper and remove seeds and membrane from inside. Place the bell peppers into the prepared pan. Cook your rice by reading the instructions in the back. Soak the beans overnight, then drain them. Transfer the beans to a cooking pot. Add water and bring the beans to a boil. Reduce to a low simmer and cook. Check the beans in about an hour. Add the salt when beans are just barely tender. Wash and cut the potatoes in quarters and drop in a bowl with the olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic. Transfer the potatoes to a sheet pan and spread across the pan. Roast in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once finished, add the beans patatoes and rice in a bowl . Spoon mixture into bell peppers until full. Sprinkle cheese onto the top. Bake in the preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes until cheese is bubbling and browned.

Get three eggs and crack them into a bowl. Get a fork or whisk and whisk them untill all one color. Add milk (optional), and stir in. Add cheese. Wash veggies and mince. Put a pan on stove and lightly grease, and put flame on medium heat. Pour egg mix evenly on the pan. Add in the veggies. Leave cooking until the bottom looks ready to flip. Get a spatcula and flip the eggs. Once fully cooked put on a plate. Fold in half after adding in veggies on the inside. Serve an enjoy.
